His Righteousness

Dear friend,

My husband and I enjoy mailing out cards to family and friends for their birthdays, holidays, especially Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. We don’t merely sign our names, instead we write a personal message addressing each family member and friend thanking them for how much they mean to us in our lives.

I was pondering on the idea that if God were to write me a personalized note, card or even a letter what would He say to me? How would He phrase it? I’d like to think it would be a warm and sincere message of love and appreciation for honoring Him and His commandments.

With all the nonsense going on in our world it’s tough to keep a Christian perspective on things but it’s what God expects of us. Personally, I work at it reminding myself every morning when I wake that people, including strangers, will see God through me if I maintain a positive and hope-filled Christian attitude.

I pray you are ever mindful of God’s great love for you and all you do for your family, friends and our world. God needs you to represent Him and all His righteousness.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we give thanks to you for all you have provided – all of our many blessings. Help us to be ever mindful of all that we have and not about things we do not have. Help us to remain focused on the important things in life: our loved ones, our health, and the ability to improve on our health and especially to stay mindful of how you strengthen our minds and hearts to maintain our spiritual well being. We humbly and graciously ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen

May God be with you and may He continue to protect and guide you and yours!
