His Righteousness

Dear friend, I pray you and yours had a very joyous Easter celebration this year – perhaps dinner, an Easter egg hunt, enjoying time with who ever you were able to get together with.

Contrasting this Easter to the Easter of 2020 when many of us celebrated worship services, in the safety of our homes, via live stream, this year was truly a blessing to have, abiding with CDC restrictions, the chance to worship together with other believers.

For my husband and I, we were thrilled to celebrate Mass with my sister, who is still a parishioner at the parish she and I attended in our youth and as young adults. We both received our sacraments there, we were both married there, had our children baptized there so it was a joy to attend, celebrate and later reminisce. Many, many Easter celebrations with so much happening, good and challenging, in between in our lives but we held true to God and our faith because we trust God, we listen for His direction believing He wants what is best for us! God blessed us with loving children, now grandchildren so our family circle just keeps getting bigger and more beautiful. Thank you, God!

My friend, continue to listen for God’s direction for your life, hold true to your faith, His commandments and His immense love for you. Continue to remain vigilant regarding the virus. You’re not only protecting yourself but your loved ones as well!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us. Help us to overlook the challenges we face and to put our trust in You and your unfailing grace, love and mercy. Keep us on the right path that we may remain every faithful to You, Your Word, Your Truth! Protect our families and friends and instill in them Your Holy Spirit to guide them in all their ways. Help us to remain disciplined in listening to Your counsel for You will guide us if only we would sit quietly and listen. We humbly ask this in the name of our risen Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ! Amen, Alleluia!!
