Born and raised in the Midwest I am a sister-aunt-wife-mother-grandmother-friend-child of God. I have a Master’s degree in Family Ministry from Dominican University with experience in the Clinical Pastoral Education Chaplaincy program thru Advocate-Health Care, I also facilitate in a co-parish bereavement support group.
One very important thing that life has taught me is to love God and love your fellow person. Another very important thing I have learned from life is that it’s not always going to be fair; people will hurt and disappoint you, you will even be hurt and disappointed in yourself but the one person who will never hurt or disappoint you is God.
Believe and trust in God’s righteousness and He will carry you through the most disappointing even devastating times in your life.
On a side note, I would like to give special thanks to my younger brother, Thomas ‘Thom’ for graciously assisting me in the building of my blog. Thom is a blessing to all our family. Thank you dear brother!
