Dear friend,
Today, Easter Sunday, is a glorious day for the world! No matter what is going on in our world the most important thing to believe is that Christ has risen from the dead. He has opened the gates of Heaven that we may live with Him there for all eternity. You need only believe in Him and His Word. Sounds easy enough but we are still very much human and the evil one would have you doubt so call upon the Holy Spirit, throughout the day say, ‘come Holy Spirit’ believe and you will be filled with the courage and fortitude to conduct yourself righteously.
To him be glory and power for all eternity! Alleluia, alleluia!
Prayer:
Oh God, we have so much to celebrate! An almighty God who does great things for us, and a loving Savior who calls us His own. He is our true Shepherd, come let us adore and worship Him!
Heavenly Father, please continue to watch over Ukraine, its people, their valiant soldiers and their dedicated leaders who are fighting for their freedom. Bless and strengthen those helping the refugees find the resources necessary to help ease their already heavy burdens.
Forgive the sins of the perpetrators. Fill them with your Holy Spirit to give them a ‘heart of flesh’ that they may see the error of their actions and put an end to the violence and destruction. Oh God, please bring about the end of this senseless war. Help the people of the Ukraine rebuild their lives and their country.
We humbly ask this in the name of your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
