Dear friend, Sunday, April 11, 2021 was Divine Mercy Sunday it is celebrated on the second Sunday after Easter ending the Octave of Easter. The feast became a part of the Catholic liturgical worship service on April 22, 2001. Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, according to her diary, then Sister Maria Faustina, was in her ‘cell’/bedroom when she received a vision of Jesus and His appeal “Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: “Jesus, I trust in You” (in Polish: “Jezu, ufam Tobie”). I desire that this image be venerated, first in your chapel, and then throughout the world. I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish.*” This is a beautiful story and “For those who have faith, no explanation is necessary. For those without faith, no explanation is sufficient.” Please research this miraculous story for yourself.
Dear friend, Jesus will never forsake or abandon you therefor, what ever you are going through right now, never give up on Him, for His message is “Trust in Me” and from Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus said, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29
Prayer:
Heavenly and merciful Lord, Help us to fully and completely trust in You for Your mercy endures forever. You shared with St. Faustina that “Souls perish in spite of My bitter Passion. I am giving them the last hope of salvation; that is, the Feast of My Mercy. If they will not adore My mercy, they will perish for all eternity… tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice, is near.*” Help us, oh Lord, to pray and to trust in You and Your great sacrifice on the Cross for our salvation, believe and let us remember another important thing that Jesus shared with Saint Faustina “…….there must also be deeds of mercy, which are to arise out of love for Me. You are to show mercy to our neighbors always and everywhere. You must not shrink from this or try to absolve yourself from it.*” Help us, dear Lord, to win souls over for You. In Jesus, our Lord and Savior’s name, we humbly pray. Amen
