Do right….and walk humbly with your God.

Micah 6:8 ‘You have been told, O man, what is good, and what the LORD requires of you: Only to do right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God.’

Dear friend, during these precarious times it helps to find what is most consoling and emotion strength building like reaching out to a friend or family member with a sincerely positive and spiritual attitude. You don’t need to stress about whether or not to meet this person, in person, since conversing over a telephone is just as consoling and beneficial. I have several friends and family members who are sincere listeners and gentle consolers. If you are blessed to know one or several of these very special individuals reach out to them in times of stress or concern; talk about your concerns – pray together. Alone or together with a spiritual companion you can walk humbly with God through faith and prayer, He will give you the strength and courage to get through trying times like illness, financial difficulties, emotional upsets with the assurance that we are in His capable and righteous hands.

Dear friend, start your day by reading the Bible and saying a prayer or two – place your faith in God our Father and He will give you the strength and courage to deal with your problems and give you peace.

Additional Bible verse for this week:

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Prayer for this week:

“Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of thy love. Send forth thy Spirit and they shall be recreated and thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray.
O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit hast taught the hearts of the faithful, grant us the help of the same Holy Spirit to be always truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolation, through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
